Problem (123)(154)

My girls are so close to using paper to draw the problems, but not quite yet and they enjoy building big problems. We only have units, 10s and 100s square basic ops, but my girls were ready for big number multiplication so I made strips from poster board. I forgot to make a 10,000 square, so my daughter took it's place.

BTW we now have a 10,000 square and I am making the 100s stairs from mounting board so I don't have so many strips around. They are so close to using paper to draw the problems, but not quite yet and they enjoy building big problems.

Playing math is fun...talk about getting into the problem...

Put the child into a math rich environment (literally) and they kinda sorta HAVE to lean math.
