I have a six year old who long ago decided she loved reading but didn't like math, simply because she didn't "get it."

This was after using math curriculum that I thought was unique and forward thinking (compared to the public school alternatives). Two days after starting math camp, she looks at me and says "This math is fun. It isn't like the other math."

She now understands what she's doing as opposed to memorizing what she's shown. I've found her willingly taking out blocks and creating her own problems. Her curiosity has been piqued and it makes me so happy to see my often shy and quiet little girl feeling bold and confident enough to create her own problems and teach her younger siblings.

Other people post vids and links there. Lessons cost the people doing them minimum $50.00 and hour. You can watch 2 to 10 of them a month for a dollar...Do the math. Currently 127 people are there. About half of them are active.
You basically get a support group for a buck a month.
